Barbara's love of photography began with a class she took at Clarkson University in New York during her freshman year. There she discovered a new way to see the world and all its beauty, through the camera lens. After transferring to Trinity College in Vermont her love of photography & Vermont only increased as she saw her home state through the camera?s lens.

A camera is standard equipment whenever she hikes the Green Mountains with friends or her husband. She constantly keeps her 35mm Minolta x-700 & the family digital camera ready to go whenever the mood to capture a moment in time strikes her.

Her subject matter includes landscapes, animals, still life and flowers from the garden in her backyard. She is partial to macro-photography as she sees the world as made of small beautiful & interesting scenes that not everyone notices. Barbara enjoys sharing her photos and aspires to continue to find those photos that will bring peace, beauty and enjoyment to others.
